About ShacklePay:

ShacklePay is a secure, digital payment method for guests checking in through Shackle. On check-in, you will be asked to pre-authorise your card, which means that we will hold the amount on your credit card and use it to collect payment for any outstanding balance you have at check-out. Any additional pre-authorisation funds that are not needed to settle your bill will be returned to your card within 24 hours of your departure.

Depending on your bank, this authorisation may take longer to appear in your account; but don't worry, it'll be there shortly.

Important Notes:

  • ShacklePay is currently only available to guests who have a valid credit card; however, we will be adding the option to use debit cards and other payment methods very soon.
  • Currently there are some bookings that will be unable to use ShacklePay, but in those instances we will advise you to visit reception to complete your check-in. We are working hard to make Shackle Pay available to all guests as soon as possible.

ShacklePay is 3DS and SCA compliant to provide our guests with a secure experience.

We would appreciate your feedback; as a young company, we are always looking for ways to improve our guests' experiences; please contact us if you have any suggestions!
